Installing Phlox Pro on your WordPress Website

The following video tutorial demonstrates the installation process of the Phlox Pro theme.

Download Phlox Pro

After purchasing Phlox Pro, you can find and download it just like the below instruction:

  1. Hover over your username on Themeforest
  2. Click Downloads from the menu
  3. Click Download next to the Phlox Pro
  4. Select Installable WordPress file only

Now you have the zip file of Phlox Pro.

If you download the whole package, you need to extract it to access the secondary Phlox-Pro.zip.

The name of the full package zip file is not Phlox and it is the old name of the theme, Lotus. Do not worry, you have downloaded the correct file

Install by Uploading Phlox Pro File via WordPress Admin Panel

Installing the Phlox Pro theme, is similar to installing any other WordPress theme on your website. After downloading Phlox Pro, you can upload the theme file directly, in WordPress dashboard. If you downloaded the full package, you can install it by following the below steps:

  1. Extract the zip file you have downloaded
  2. Find theme folder
  3. Copy phlox-pro.zip somewhere, like desktop
  4. Login to the WordPress Admin Panel
  5. Select Appearance > Themes on the Dashboard
  6. Click on Add New
  7. Click the Upload Theme on the top left
  8. Select the phlox-pro.zip file
  9. After uploading it, click on Activate

If you download only installable WordPress files, it is easier:

  1. Login to the WordPress Admin Panel
  2. Select Appearance > Themes on the Dashboard
  3. Click on Add New
  4. Click the Upload Theme on the top left
  5. Select the phlox-pro.zip file
  6. After uploading it, click on Activate

Now Phlox Pro is installed on your website.

Install by Uploading Phlox Pro File via FTP

In this method, you can install Phlox by using an FTP client like Filezilla, FireFtp, and Cyberduck.

  1. Use an FTP client to access your host web server
  2. Create a directory and name it "phlox-pro" in the wp-content/themes directory provided by WordPress
  3. Upload the zip file of Phlox Pro to the new directory on your host server
  4. Extract the zip file and delete the zip file
  5. Login to the WordPress Admin Panel
  6. Select Appearance > Themes on the Dashboard
  7. Roll over the Phlox Pro thumbnail image
  8. Click the Activate button to activate the theme
