Setting Up Social Media

Social Media icons can appear on your website. Your website visitors can easily access your social profiles. Phlox allows you to select different social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. You can add your profile links for each social icons you want to add.

To set up the Website Socials:

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel
  2. Click Appearance on the Dashboard
  3. Then click Customize

  4. Navigate General > Website Socials

After setting up the social links, you can choose where to add these social media:

Header Section

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel
  2. Click Appearance on the Dashboard
  3. Then click Customize
  4. Navigate Header > Header Section
  5. Choose layout which contains Add Social Icons

You can also add a top header bar to display your social icons there.

Footer

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel
  2. Click Appearance on the Dashboard
  3. Then click Customize
  4. Go to Footer > Footer
  5. Choose the layout which contains Social Media Icons

Widget Areas

You are able to add social media widget on any widget area you want. You can find more info about social media widget here.

Author Section

Additionally, social media can be specified for each author if you add them to the author profile.

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel
  2. Click Appearance on the Dashboard
  3. Then click Customize
  4. Go to Blog > Single Post
  5. Enable Display Author Socials

Author section box will be displayed under each post, if Display Author Section option is enabled.
